LightWork is a journal of healing and holistic living. It is about empowering people to live happy, healthy, abundant, and loving lives. It encourages people to become spiritually centered in all that they do.

We encourage you to read the magazine to get a feel for us, and submit any articles that discuss your spiritual journey/experiences, and your own healing. We are also interested in articles that promote a spiritually rounded lifestyle, such as how to build community, how to grow and prepare real foods, or simply how to help one another in times of crisis.

It is our intention that each issue should have a theme, but we are flexible. The theme can be very loose. Who knows, your article could even inspire a theme. We'll go with the flow.

Criteria

So, in general, we welcome submissions that meet the following criteria:

• Articles must have a spiritual component, but not a religious component.
  What's the difference? The God experience is different for everyone, and we don't want articles that subscribe to one particular viewpoint, while slighting others.
• Talk about you!
  What have you learned? Share with us.
• Send submissions in manuscript format:
  • Double-spaced in Courier New or similar font.
  • Include the word count, your name, and your contact information (e-mail is fine) on the title page.
  • Include a link to your Web page (if you have one), along with a brief bio.
  • Word .rtf format is preferred. No HTML, please.

Payment

It is our goal to be able to pay all contributors eventually, but since we are just beginning this venture, what we can offer you is some exposure and a link to your own Web page. Toot your own horn! Wrote a book? Talk it up in your bio.
